It just occurred to me that I've never posted a picture of pie on Bighappyfunhouse.
And oh yea,

You may not be able to post comments right now. There's a glitch in the system. I have my crack team of programmers working on it. (Stosh and Stanley) It should be fixed shortly.
I found this letter tucked inside an old photo album. It's dated June of 1969.
it's really strange how it starts out so civil and then goes downhill so quickly.
Hey everybody- Nick here. Ron will be back tomorrow so this will be my last post over here at big happy. Thanks so much for all your comments!! If you enjoyed my posts I have my own (somewhat darker) snapshot collection on display over at Square America and a daily snapshot blog, The Boat Lullabies so come on over and take a look!
Hey folks, Nick from Square America here. I'll be pinch-hitting for Ron for the next five days and I'll do my best to bring you some big happiness while Ron hits the road in search of the perfect etching.
When I was a kid, I had an uncle who would take off every now and then to go see his "ladyfriend". He would pack a small bag, jump into his truck and ride off into the sunset. When he got back it always took a few days for the smile to leave his face. I always wondered what he did on those trips that made him so happy. Finally one day I got up the courage to ask him where he went on those trips. He looked at me and said "Oh, I went to see my ladyfriend over in Texas." I asked him what he did there that made him so happy. He thought about it for a second or two and then with a big grin he said "She showed me her etchings." I just stared at him while he had a good chuckle about that one. I had no idea what the hell he was talking about.
Anyhow, I'm headed to Dallas for a few days. My good friend Nick from Square America will be filling in for a few days while I'm gone. Be nice to him even though he's a Yankees fan. (Go White Sox!!!)
See yall soon!
