So I'm looking through this big box of photos and I come across this one.
I didn't think it was that great of a pic so I tossed it back into the box. As it was falling down I saw something strange. It picked up the photo and looked a little closer.
Yes, it was just as I suspected.
You'll see it under the table.
That kid with the banana in his hand has a second head growing out of his lap.

This Friday the 20th, Nick from the The Boat Lullabies and I will be doing a show at the Hideout 1354 W. Wabansia in Chicago. It's part of the the Gapers Block 2nd Anniversary Party. Come on down and you'll get to experience our zany first-ever found photo slide and story show. We'll have an old school slide projector showing some images on a screen. You get on the microphone and tell the stories to go with the pic. It' should be a good time (or a complete train wreck, it's our first time doing this). They'll be prizes and much wonderment. Even more wonderment than usual. The event starts at 9:00 and goes until midnight. We'll be doing our thing somewhere in that three hour window.

Joe 40,000 Murphy

Well, I'm finally getting around to selling my collection of Joe 40,000 Murphy photographs so I thought I'd post a few here before they find a new home. It's some of the best outsider photography I've ever seen. Really amazing stuff. I'm sad to see them go but hey, I got rent to pay.
